Terms and Conditions of business of Footlight Performance Academy

• All fees must be paid in full unless paying by direct debit or otherwise agreed. If not paying via direct debit all fees must be paid within 7 days of the invoice being issued.
• All Course Fees are payable in advance of the term/course to which they apply.
• One full term’s notice, in writing, is required. This must be submitted within 3 weeks of the end of the previous term, before a pupil is withdrawn or payment in lieu will be necessary. In the event that fees are not paid in accordance with our Terms of Business, ie: payments must be made in the previous term; we reserve the right to charge an administration charge in the sum of £ 20.00. Clients with accounts in default agree to pay our reasonable expenses, including legal fees and costs for collection by third-party agencies, incurred when enforcing these Terms and Conditions
• Any deposits or fees paid with regard to any course/classes provided are non-refundable.
• No remission of fees is possible for absence through illness or for any other cause. Neither will fees be carried over or used for other family members

• Footlight Performance Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend any class, course, workshop, examination session or event where circumstances arise that are beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather conditions, flooding, power failures, fire, government restrictions, public health emergencies, building closures, or any other event that makes it unsafe or impractical to operate.

  In such circumstances, Footlight Performance Academy shall not be liable for any consequential loss and no refund, credit or compensation will be payable in respect of any cancelled classes or activities. Where reasonably practicable, we may endeavour to provide an alternative class, online session, or make-up lesson, however this cannot be guaranteed.

• Before lessons, between lessons and after lessons students are the responsibility of their parents/guardians and as such, Footlight Performance Academy cannot accept responsibility for any student outside of these times.
• Term fees do not include the provision of resources, such as scripts, music or examination fees or subsequent coaching sessions. Any supplies provided by Footlight Performance Academy to a student will incur the necessary fee.
• We train the children under the syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Royal Academy of Dancing and LAMDA. Students are entered for examinations on the advice of the teacher and after completing the necessary training.
• Every encouragement is made to motivate the children to take part in stage performances.
• Uniform is compulsory after the initial 4 week settling in period.
• Your data will only be used by Footlight Performance Academy; we never share your information with 3rd parties unless we need to submit to exam boards or local authorities – See privacy policy. Please ensure you inform us of any changes to the information given.
